Why it is the same team
A heat pump is a plumbing job with a compressor attached. Solar is an electrical job on a roof. Keeping the trades in-house is why the renewable work runs.
Renewables are these trades
A heat pump needs a cylinder, pipework and a circuit. A battery needs an isolator and a consumer unit that can take it. It is all the same work.
Nothing waits on a subcontractor
The electrician who wires the inverter is the electrician who was on site the week before. No one is booked in for a fortnight's time.
Certification comes from one place
Gas Safe, NAPIT and MCS under the same roof, so the paperwork arrives together rather than being chased from three firms.
And it works the other way too
You can have a radiator moved without any of the rest of it. Most of what we do is ordinary work for people who have used us before.
What we get called out for
Four kinds of work, and most jobs are one of them.
- Heating
- Radiators, valves, cylinders, pumps and controls. Rebalancing a system that heats the back bedroom and nothing else, and finding out why.
- Plumbing
- Bathrooms, kitchens, soil and supply alterations, outside taps, and the leaks that only show up somewhere other than where they are.
- Electrical
- Consumer units, rewires, additional circuits, EV charger supplies and the certification that goes with all of it.
- First fix for other work
- The plumbing and electrical inside an extension, a loft conversion or a heat pump installation, sequenced with the rest of it.

Most jobs can be scoped over the phone well enough to know what it needs and roughly what it costs.
A visit
For anything bigger than a repair, somebody comes and looks before quoting.
The quotation
Itemised, so you can see what is labour, what is materials and what is optional.
The work
Small jobs same week where we can. Larger work scheduled with a date rather than a window.
Certification
Gas Safe or electrical certificates, issued and registered.
What happens once we leave
This is the part of the business people come back to.
Your paperwork, on the day
Gas Safe notification, electrical installation certificate or minor works certificate, whichever the job needs.
A two year guarantee
On our workmanship, in writing, transferable if you sell, and insurance-backed.
Annual servicing
Annual boiler and heat pump servicing, booked ahead so it is not remembered in December.

We attend within five working days, and within 24 hours with no heating or hot water.

The questions we get asked most
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. A radiator, a leaking valve, an extra socket. Most of our repeat work is ordinary jobs for people who have used us before.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes, 603349, checkable on the Gas Safe register. Electrical work is registered with NAPIT, 68787.
Do you use subcontractors?
Our own engineers do the work. Where a specialist trade is genuinely needed we tell you who and what they are doing.
Can you certify work someone else started?
We can inspect and test it, and certify what we can stand behind. What we cannot verify, we will say so about rather than sign for.
Do you do EV charger supplies?
Yes. The supply, the circuit and the certification, whether or not the charger came from us.
How quickly can you come out?
Small jobs, usually the same week. No heating or hot water, within 24 hours.
